Mission Statement

Cold Narly Generation (CNG) has embarked on a mission to mold K-12 students' creativity at a young age which began Cold Narly Music Academy (CNGMA). We are giving the youth the tools combined with mentorship to succeed in the music industry, which is full of opportunities for all ages. Providing a safe environment for creativity while developing their skills for a professional career.

How We Started

In 2017 CNGMA started an after school program for students in Buffalo Public Schools. Since then has had groundbreaking partnerships with hundreds of private, public, charter schools districts within multiple cities, and growing.

To further our reach we been pushing into community centers and local 5013c organizations that aligns with our mission of excellence, many have built recording studios design by our producers or now provides our very unique workshops. Our curriculums are carefully designed to fulfill our long term missions, therefore we teach students how to create, produce, and perform trendy music. Our years of gathering data proves the impact of leveraging CASEL’s SEL(social and emotional learning) framework and Positive Literature within our goals, it has empowered our CNG Kids and their parents to use music for their goals. Students in our class are mentored by our CNG certified producers, artist, and engineers on the basics of music production, and live presentation.

Cold Narly Music Academy data shows increase student & parent engagement, attendance, social & emotional behavior or help them develop soft skills. The hands-on activities involves software operation, creating beats, writing raps and songs, professional quality vocal recording, podcasting, music business & mindset.

Join in our detailed conversations about the world of music production. Students will learn the basics to run studio sessions or begin the develop your own studio one day. All necessary steps to making a successful Singles, EPs or Albums.

• Learn Songwriting & Rapping Arrangement

Learn how to turn the wonderful words in your mind into beautiful art for other to enjoy. You will have the opportunity to speak with our producers about your lyrics to help you get ready for studio recording sessions.

• Recording & Mixing Vocals

Learn how to take an average recording into a flawless arrangement that is ready for platforms like Podcast, Tidal, Youtube, Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music Etc.

• Producing Beats 101 

Learn how to produce like the big name producers such as Pharrell, Timberland, Kayne West, Murda Beatz, Martin Garrix, Metro Boomin, 9th Wonder, Lex Luger, TM88 in the programs like FL Studio 20, Logic Pro, Pro Tools etc.
